Congratulations to downtown St. Petersburg First Central Tower tenant InsideOut Labs! When our tenants succeed we succeed. St Pete Catalyst reports “InsideOut, which currently occupies the third and ninth floors at First Central Tower in downtown St. Petersburg, is taking two additional floors in the building to build the T-Mobile sales center. Both T-Mobile employees and InsideOut employees will work at the center.” 

Over the next six months, InsideOut will hire 150 employees, some of whom will staff the T-Mobile center and others who will fill jobs created by additional contracts with Google, Facebook and IBM.

Many of the new hires will be people who have been working in the hospitality industry, which has taken a hard hit amid efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19 coronavirus.

A St. Pete virtual reality company is transforming how Macy’s sells furniture

CLEARWATER – The Macy’s at Westfield Countryside Mall doesn’t have the space to store any furniture inventory, but that hasn’t stopped new interior designers on staff from selling it. Virtual reality and the high-resolution graphics that go along with it have catapulted retailers into the modern age of decor, design and furniture sales.

NIX recently opened an office in Feldman Equities’ and Tower Realty Partners First Central Tower in downtown St. Pete that will be the company’s primary U.S. headquarters, said Kevin Woodford, community advocate for NIX. “We are looking to grow this office tremendously. St. Pete-Tampa is one of the fastest-growing communities for tech investments, so it made sense for us to come here.”

The growing technology sector in the St. Pete-Tampa area has attracted one of the larger software development firms in the world, NIX United, to the area. NIX recently opened an office in Feldman Equities’ First Central Tower in downtown St. Pete that will be the company’s primary U.S.
